S.K.E.P. is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) which supports street children, orphans, poor families and their children in Tamale, Northern Ghana.
The primary aim of S.K.E.P is to make education possible for children who cannot go to school due to financial problems.
S.K.E.P. was started as a project in September 2004 and currently the organization supports the education of 56 children, all of whom attend the Baga-Baga Primary and Junior Secondary School in Tamale. There are many other children still waiting to receive support from S.K.E.P.
The organization does not only support the families and their children financially but it also organizes health campaigns like family planning and HIV & AIDs education.

Oluu Mahama (director)
I live in the north of Ghana and I study marketing. I have worked for a long time at an orphanage in Tamale, where I helped young children at school. I have been willing to do more for these children for a long time and S.K.E.P. gives me the perfect opportunity to do so.
Mahama Safianu
I joined S.K.E.P as a volunteer in November 2005. Before joining S.K.E.P I worked as a volunteer for a community radio station. During that period I developed a lot of interest in voluntary activities. One day I met Oluu Mahama , who invited me to come and have a look at S.K.E.P. and its activities. I realized that it was a great organization and after a while I decided t join the organization. I am very enthusiastic about the project and want to do a lot more for my little brothers and sisters.
